Breast Cancer :
21.4 women in every 100,000 women face breast cancer each year. If you think the numbers are less than a little bit, then I understand. The population of Bengal is about 17 crore, and half of them are women. That is, about eight and a half million As a result, more than 18,000 women are getting new breast cancer each year. At present, the percentage of breast cancer is 26%, and the percentage of cervical cancer is 21%.However, due to a strange taboo in our society there is no talk about these deadly diseases, no resistance arrangements. As with the breast, talking about the uterus, the end is respected. Just as all the body is deposited in the breast and uterus, all respect! Is this shame more expensive than life? I will never ask, my mother, my sister or my wife will ever be affected by this deathbed.
And so we want to do this with wide publicity, talk about this in school-colleges-universities, tea chairs, in the field and everywhere. Nothing can be costly than life, nothing is possible. Can we survive from breast cancer? I will not answer it, I just say, we can try. And there are some steps for that effort. I would like very much, our mothers, our girls will follow these rules in accordance with the rules.
First of all, we can make a list of the things we need to do to protect ourselves from breast cancer.
1) Self-examination of the house itself, which is called Self Breast Examination
2) Some tests for the doctor, which is called Clinical Examination
After this, if there is any type of tumor or cancer in the end of these tests, it is necessary to start treatment like staging without delay. The problem is that the value of the treatment is so high that it is almost like a dream for the middle class, and the poor people are excluded. And so, want remedies before remedies.
• Self Breast Examination:
These tests of their own nipples will be performed each month. It has to be made a habit. During the bathing time, standing in front of the mirror, lying on the bed, these tests will be performed at different times. I am writing a picture with one picture. I am giving the number in the picture, so that the description matches the serial number.
1) First, notice whether there is any place swirling around the nipple or any other place around the nipple, or if you touch it gently, it feels like a hard wheel.
2) Whether the part of the breast is feeling swollen or whether the color of a place has changed, or if it feels warm.
3) Whether there is any change in the shape of two nipples.
4) Whether or not the skin of the nip is skewed inside the skin, or has not penetrated.
5) No part of the nipple bud or it is rash.
6) Whether the part of the bot has penetrated inside.
7) Whether the fluid emerges from the pulp.
8) Whether there is pain in the part of the nipple, which is in the same place, it can not spread anywhere.
Do not sit in line with your expectations, your breasts tumor or cancer. For example, most women do not have the same shape as two breasts. A few nineteenths are in the form of Again, if a place seems somewhat swollen, it may not be cancerous, it can also be benign (damaging) tumors. However, since carefulness is not there, so if you feel that you have to be patient without delay. Again, due to various infections or because of the use of medication, fluids may be emitted from the nipple (milk, or milk-like fluid, sometimes other color). However, since none of these is a common phenomenon, so if something is observed then contact the doctor.
• Clinical Examination:
Almost everyone in the US has health insurance. So, once a year, all women can mammography free of charge. But, if you have to do it once more, then the insurance company does not help at that time, then the insurance company does not help. According to the study of advanced countries, make mammography of your breast at least once every 3 years since the age of 20, and make every year since the age of 40.
If mammography is found to be suspected, then ultra-scanning should be done to make sure more. It can be understood from the cyst or fibroid or any other tumor / cancer from ultrasonography. Later, there are MRIs to be sure, because it is something expensive, the doctors do not first suggest it. If the Tumor suggests in MRI, but the biopsy is to be tested by testing the tissues from the breast and staging is determined by the level of cancer and accordingly the treatment is planned.
Sadly, most of our breast cancer patients come to Stage 3 or beyond.
In 2007-08, according to a study done in Khulna, 87% of new diagnosed breast cancer had stage 3+, where cancer spread beyond the breast and spread to other parts of the body. According to a 2013 study, the number of only Qualified Oncologist (Cancer Specialist) in Bangladesh is only 150, Pediatric or Pediatric Cancer Specialist is only 16. In this country of large population, how many of these doctors are treating and how they are treated, it does not hold my tiny brain.
